OBJECT: Gain chips by succeeding in a series of games.

BEFORE THE GAME: Three players are staked 100 chips each.

QUIZ: Based on a blind draw, e ach player is given three multiple-choice questions. Each correct answer awards 10 chips, and a clean sweep on all three questions awards a 20-chip bonus.

GAME 1: The maximum bet is 25 chips, in increments of 5 chips. This game usually involves a card game with a parlaying bet. If the dealer turns over a winning card, all chips at risk double. If a losing card is dealt, the player suffers a net loss of the original bet. Unless otherwise announced, a maximum of four cards are dealt.

GAME 2: The maximum bet is 50 chips, in increments of 5 chips. The game changes from episode to episode.

WORD GAME: The slot machine displays three different dictionary-certified words and randomly replaces one letter in each with a question mark. The player must identify the missing letter in each word. Each correct answer awards 25 chips; a clean sweep of all three questions awards an additional 25-chip bonus.

GAME 3: Exclusive to this net version of Dealer's Choice is a game called Triple Play. The maximum bet is 75 chips, in increments of 15 chips, with the bet evenly split among the three components of Triple Play: High Card, Blackjack, and Poker.

🃏 High Card
Each player and the house will be dealt one card.

If a player's card is higher than the house's (aces are high in this game), the payoff is 1-to-1. In case the player's card's rank is equal to the house's rank, the result is a push.  Otherwise, the result is a lost bet.

♠️ Blackjack
Building on the cards dealt in High Card, one additional card is dealt to each player, and a hole card is dealt to the house.

In the event the house's up card (from High Card) is a face card, 10, or ace, the dealer checks the hole card.

If the hole card creates a two-card total of 21, the dealer turns over the hole card to confirm, and all Blackjack bets are lost.

If there is no house two-card 21, the middle part of the card game continues.

Starting with Player 1, the player is allowed to hit (take another card) or stand. (For simplicity, splits, double downs, and surrenders are not allowed).

Face cards are worth 10; aces are worth 1 or 11 as needed.

If the player's first card (from High Card) and second card (from Blackjack) total 21, the payoff is 2-to-1 (so long as the house doesn't have a two-card 21 as noted above).

Should the player hit three times and not bust (go over a hard 21), the player receives a 2-to-1 payoff for a five-card Charlie.

When Player 3 stands or busts, the house then turns over the hole card. The house must draw cards until achieving any total higher than 16 (including soft hands) or completing a five-card hand.

If the player's hand is closer to a total of 21 without going over, the payoff is 1-to-1.

In case of a tie, the result is a push.

A bust or if the house's hand is better than the player's results in a loss of the bet.

♦️ Poker
The Blackjack hands now become foundations for Poker hands.

The dealer now distributes one card to each player and a hole card to the house until four five-card hands (one for each player and the house) are complete.

Then, the dealer turns over the house's cards one at a time.

If the player's poker hand is better than the house's, the payoff is 1-to-1.

In the unlikely yet never impossible event that the player's hand is equal to that of the house's (e.g., if the player has two eights, two threes, and a queen, and the house also has two eights, two threes, and a queen), the result is a push.

Otherwise, the bet is a loss.

✨ Bonus Prize
In the event any contestant wins all three bets and does not push at any time, the player instantly wins a bonus prize.

GAME 4: The maximum bet is "all in", in increments of 5 chips. The game changes from episode to episode. Before the action begins, the wager and decision are made in secret.

END OF GAME: The contestant with the most chips wins.

In case of a two- or three-way tie for the lead, those involved in the tie replay the 4th game (meaning the third place, who has to sit out the tie-breaker, could win if the others bet too much).

However, a player who finishes with a total of 0 chips cannot win.

The third-place player earns $10 per chip, the second-place player $25 per chip, and the winner $100 per chip.

BONUS DICE: The winning contestant rolls a special pair of dice.

Eleven of the 12 sides of the two dice have cash amounts; the remaining side has a spade.

So long as the player does not roll the spade, the player banks the cash.

If the player can bank at least $10,000, the winner collects a bonus prize.
